Don’t worry if you haven’t RSVP'd. We’re planning on you!
Dear Women and Young Women of the Layton Legacy Stake,
We’re so excited to see you at our upcoming Women’s/Young Women’s Conference “A Light in the Darkness: Finding Jesus Christ in the Temple.” With the fast-approaching open house and dedication of our beloved Layton temple, along with the heavy covenant and temple emphasis of our recent general conference, we’re thrilled to spend some time with you learning and growing in our understanding of the Savior and the covenants we make with Him in His temple.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Shon Hopkin, Professor of Ancient Scripture at BYU, who holds a PhD in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas. You can learn more about Dr. Hopkin in his bio below.
He will be sharing his vast knowledge about the temple, particularly focusing on the doctrine of Christ, and how we can find and connect with the Savior as part of our temple worship.
Wherever you are on your journey to the temple, we welcome you to come learn more about finding strength, peace, and power through the blessings of the temple.
Then join us for a delicious home-made cinnamon roll (with GF options) and fruit as you visit with sisters and young women in our stake.
We love you and can’t wait to spend Saturday morning with you.
Love,
The Stake Relief Society and Young Women’s presidencies
